With Christmas officially upon us next week, we’re quickly wrapping up 2023. 2023 has been an incredible year filled with many great moments to celebrate. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to help many families and individuals achieve their real estate goals. As we look back on the year, we would like to share just a few of the moments that really stood out to each of us at TK Homes.

12-21-23_Happy-Holidays_MaryS_inset.jpg2023 has been a great year for me because I was able to help many families get where they are going. It is the journey that I love as well as learning each of my clients’ stories and being able to help them reach their goals. Although all of my clients are special to me, I had a few unique situations that stood out this year. One of my clients went through a very challenging divorce. I was able to help find her a beautiful home with an amazing view of the mountains, even though we had to beat out many other offers to do that. This is the first home she has ever bought on her own, and it will be a new beginning for her and a place to start over. I also had another client who I was able to help avoid going into foreclosure. That situation was challenging up to the end because some unexpected things happened, and we were within weeks of it going into foreclosure, but I was able to get it done despite all of the difficulties. I  helped a family with kids move into a bigger home, first-time homebuyers get homes, and even helped someone that has been looking for over two years find a home that is absolutely perfect for them. Each of my clients have a special story, and I feel so grateful that they trusted me to help them on their journey. I love that I was able to impact many people's lives in a positive way.

12-21-23_Happy-Holidays_TrevorK_inset.jpgWith so many awesome memories and moments throughout the year, it’s hard to narrow it down to one of my favorites. However, if I had to choose, I would pick the incredible home we sold in Evergreen just this past fall. I will always remember visiting this incredible mountain home for the first time because upon entering it was like going back to 1979 when it was first built. The mountain golf course setting would have been enough to impress just about anyone, but this one-of-a-kind home had so many unique features that I couldn’t wait to see what I’d find in the next room. I am not sure if the walk-in wine cellar with custom whiskey barrel wood door was my favorite feature or if the garage found at the back of the home for the golf cart took the prize. Regardless, this home that was stuck in a time capsule will definitely be on the top of my list of amazing experiences I have been able to enjoy due to my career as a real estate professional, which I love so much. For everyone that worked with TK Homes, you all played a big role in making 2023 such an amazing year, and without you, we couldn’t do what we love to do. So, I want to personally thank you for your trust in us. Have a happy holiday season, and here’s to an incredible upcoming 2024!

12-21-23_Happy-Holidays_MikeB_inset.jpgSome of my fondest moments from this past year were when clients gave really great compliments on the photos I took of their homes. This is a big deal because it’s not just a testament to our technical process but also our level of service. Sometimes putting together wonderful photos isn’t just about expertise behind a camera. It’s about being willing to help, whether it be prepping the property or doing what we can to make it look as good as possible. This could include moving furniture within a room or helping to clean different areas up before snapping a photo. So, when a client shares their sincere compliment about how the photos turned out, it’s a very welcomed and appreciated moment that always reminds me that these are more than just photos of a house; they are a representation of this individual’s or family’s home, and they are entrusting me to capture that. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to take photos and help many homeowners represent their home at it’s very best in 2023. I look forward to being able to help even more individuals and families achieve the same success in 2024!

With 2023 nearly behind us, all of us at TK Homes want to thank you once again for your continued support and business. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to write this blog and do what we love doing--helping individuals and families sell, buy and invest in real estate. We hope that you’re able to enjoy this holiday season with family and loved ones and look forward to coming back in 2024 with our 2024 Market Prediction blog the first Thursday of 2024!
